equipment
We use only the best quality equipment at Surf Camp from wetsuits and surf boards to suncare.
Technical Equipment
Founded in 1969, Rip Curl are the market leaders in surfing wetsuit technology. We hold a range of wetsuits to suit all sizes and water temperatures. You’re guaranteed to keep warm and comfy in these wetties. Our custom designed surfboards are created for the beginner surfer. Surfboards range from 6′6 to 10′10 in size. Once you’ve mastered standing up on the board, we’ve got a range of other shapes and sizes to help you progress.
Our instructors are in the water virtually everyday and are experts when it comes to using the right equipment. They’d be more than happy to pass on their knowledge to you at camp.
Suncare
The Aussie sun can be harsh on all skin types. Luckily Banana Boat sunscreens are available in ultra heavy duty protection. This means that we can have fun in the surf without those nasty UV rays damaging our skin.
Whilst at the beach we recommend a sunscreen no less than 30+ water resistant. If you happen to get burnt, apply Aloe gel or spray to help soothe the burn.
All sunscreen is provided whilst at Surf Camp.
Be wise in the sun and check out Banana Boat’s Top Sun Tips .
