“I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you and all at Surf Camp for two fantastic days this past weekend. You have created quite an oasis down there and I have to say that the entire experience really did exceed all of my expectations. Particular thanks to Simon for his endless patience and to Chris for his laidback yet enthusiastic approach, which was just so wonderfully Australian. The combination of teaching styles and range of topics you cover over the two days really work!”

“The two experience operators were so warm and welcoming; they quickly won the affections of the group with their humour and relaxed personalities… Our accommodation was custom designed for the surf camp experience; it was well set up with everything we could need… The beach was only a short five minute walk from the holiday park.
Whilst out trying to catch the waves, we were joined by beautiful whales frolicking far off shore… The swell was good and we all had a blast. I managed to get in a few turns and ride waves to shore. I had come so far with my surfing in just two days!” Read on

“The organisation was great and we had an exceptional instructor Gee who was able to really explain the fundamentals of surfing and had a great personality which helped. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!”

“Surfing provides the perfect blend of fun and fitness, while allowing you to experience – and appreciate – the best nature has to offer… When learning to surf, you can either go for a single lesson at a surf school, or be part of a group in a surf camp… surf camps vary from a day to a weekend, or a five-day camp in Byron Bay. Not only do you get to learn to surf, or catch waves if you already know how, it’s sociable and it can get quite lively.” Read on.

“A friend and I spotted the learn-to-surf weekend in a community college brochure and booked it on a whim, surfing being something we’d always wanted to try.
We’re picked up in Sydney on Friday evening and driven to surf camp HQ at Seven Mile Beach on NSW’s south coast… it has some of the best beginner waves in the country.
As we wade into the ocean on Saturday morning, conditions seem perfect…. By the end of the day, almost all of us have managed to stand and although I’m exhausted, I’m loving it and looking forward to tomorrow’s sessions. Read on.
