- Environment: 7 Mile Beach is one of the safest beaches in Australia due to range of factors:
- 7 Mile Beach has a extremly flat shoreline (gradual drop in depth of the water/No steep drop-offs), which not only produces ideal low-energy spilling waves but also reduces wildlife activity.

- Surf Camp Australia has been operating for over 27 years without critical incidents
- Technology:
- Surf Camp Australia operates a Thermal Drone daily, which allows us to check and monitor and wildlife activity in the water at all times.
- We are using the same technology and procedure used across NSW at lifeguarded beaches.
- Safety-trained and fully Qualified staff: You are in safe hands!
- All Instructors hold current Ocean rescue certificates and experience (renewed and tested yearly)
- All Instructors are CPR and First aid trained (renewed and tested yearly
- All Instructors are experienced surfers that understand and assess ocean conditions before each surf lesson.
- A Senior/Head coach on each lesson to ensure safety before and during each surf lesson
- In case of an emergency, a major hospital is close by.
The goal is simple: to make your surfing experince as safe as possible!
We teach this safety approach during our camps and at our Beach safety presentation held across Sydney and NSW.
